Alan McConchie Biography

Alan McConchie is a graduate of the Faculty of Arts of Simon Fraser University (B.A.) (1998) and of the Faculty of Law of the University of British Columbia (L.L.B.) (2002).

Before joining McConchie Law Corporation as an associate in September, 2004, Alan McConchie articled and worked as an associate in the Vancouver office of a major Canadian law firm.

Alan McConchie has appeared as counsel before the B.C. Court of Appeal, the B.C. Supreme Court, the B.C. Provincial Court, and various administrative tribunals and arbitration boards. Alan practices primarily in the areas of Defamation and Privacy Law, and as part of that practice, regularly advises and assists clients with respect to addressing and removing content posted on the Internet. Alan also practices in the area of Employment law.
